October Divas, what a pitiful sight!
Only Patty and Peggy showed up that night.
Allison couldn't get a babysitter,
But she'll be back, she's no quitter.
Donna preferred her horses and cows
to dining with her Diva sows.
A grandson's play won with Trish,
Who missed out on a nachos dish.
Cathy chose an OU game,
That excuse was rather lame.
Deb picked up her Corvette,
Her absence we won't soon forget.
Shingles really plagued Darlene,
We could almost hear her scream.
Jan had traveled out of state
And missed her enchilada plate.
Paula had a bout with chills,
She stayed home to take her pills.
We don't know what's up with Jeanne,
No Spanish rice or refried beanie.
If Texas Divas are hard core,
Patty and Peggy made the score.

Real cute Peggy - missed all of you Divas.
Now that was good! I know this is a first for the divas! Hopefully next month will be 100% attendance. Keep the poems coming. Love them! Love you!
love it, thanks for the poem mom! love you
To all my Diva Dames:
So, did I really have an excuse that was lame?
My Oklahoma Sooners get all the blame.
They chose beautiful places to play their games
Where hubby and I find great B&B's of fame.
We bedded in one where Yates was the name
And culinary delights are their rightful claim.
So I'm sure Diva night was quite & tame
But I'll be there next time with all the Diva Dames!
Cathy

pGood job, Cathy! You may guest write here any time you wish! Funny girl!
